Netherton Sport
U14s players have such high expectations of themselves these day, that there
were a lot of disappointed faces in not lifting the winners’ spoils when getting beat 1 – 0 by
their long time established hosts, in the Ossett Town Gala final.
It is such an easy job coaching a
group of players, who all put such high demands upon themselves, as although
they still haven’t been formed for a full 12 months, they already have Charles
Rice Silverware, amongst other Gala trophy ware, to proudly display upon their
trophy self at Netherton WMC. Joe Pearson was Netherton Sports Topps
Tiles Player of the Tournament just ahead of Lee Cawley & James
Woodings.
Netherton Sports are still looking
to recruit enough players for an Under 7 and an U8 side with all players of
both teams immediately starting to play 7 a side football, on weekly
basis, right from the start of the coming season 2009/10.
The club can offer quality training,
club house with all facilities including SKY TV and hot food on match days
etc. We would really welcome the parents of these players to get
really actively involved in the coaching etc and can offer appropriate funding
training coursers to those interested, so long as they pass a full CRB Police
Check. For further details please contact Club Development Officer
